Chris Rosenfeld  began her professional journey at the age of 14, when she entered the world of fashion in New York City. What started as a teenage opportunity soon became a 17-year career that would take her across some of the most influential fashion capitals in the world.

For nearly two decades, Chris lived a highly international and constantly changing life. Her work as a model took her from New York to Tokyo, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, Madrid, Los Angeles, Miami, Shanghai, Munich, Taipei, Osaka, Rome, Athens and many other cities around the world. Rather than simply visiting these places, she often lived in them for extended periods, experiencing the realities of life far beyond the familiar environment of home. Each city brought a different culture, language, rhythm of life, and experience.

The modeling industry also meant constantly meeting and working with new people. Photographers, designers, stylists, makeup artists, agents, models, clients, and creative teams from many different countries became part of her everyday life. Living and working closely with people from different cultural and social backgrounds taught Chris how to communicate across languages and cultures, adapt quickly to unfamiliar situations, and understand people with very different perspectives and ways of life.

After 17 years in the modeling industry, Chris moved into a very different chapter of her life. She began working with her mother in the family travel business RuralTravel, accompanying organized trips throughout Europe.

Maaelureisid - RuralTravel company is focused on introducing not only the most famous and popular tourist hotspots but also showing their customers hidden gems and equally beautiful rural areas of every country they visit. Working primarily on European bus tours, she took on responsibilities as both a tour guide and translator. This allowed her to continue doing something that had been an important part of her earlier life: traveling, communicating with people from different backgrounds, and bringing together people who did not necessarily share the same language or culture. In addition to being a tour guide/translator, her professional path took an interesting turn into the world of beekeeping. Since 2022, Chris has been actively involved in apiculture and has become part of the work of Alustame Algusest – Mesilaspere training center, an NGO dedicated to education and practical training related to beekeeping. Mesilaspere training center is the biggest adult training center in Estonia for beekeepers. More information about the activities of the organization can be found on the website www.mesilaspere.com

Within the organization, she works as a project manager and official translator, combining many of the skills she developed throughout her earlier careers. Her international experience, organizational abilities, communication skills, and knowledge of languages have become valuable tools in coordinating projects and helping information move between people from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

Today, Chris’s story connects several seemingly different worlds: international fashion, travel, languages, tourism, and beekeeping. Although these fields may appear unrelated at first, they share a common thread. Throughout her career, she has continually worked with people, crossed cultural and geographical boundaries, adapted to new environments, and built connections between individuals from different backgrounds. From the fashion capitals of the world to European rural areas and, eventually, the fascinating and magnificent world of bees, her professional journey has been defined by curiosity, adaptability, and an enduring connection to people and places.
